I created Empowering Intimacy because I wanted to find a way to give people the information and experience they need to really turn their relationship lives in a different direction.
My name is Ernest Morrow. I believe intimate relationship to be the most powerful portal for personal and societal transformation. This passion began as my own journey.
I was so tired of my relationships not working. At first I thought it was just that I was picking the wrong partners but the same problems followed me from relationship to relationship. Eventually I started wondering if something was wrong with me and I wasn’t following the map the right way. I never questioned the map itself.
But after my first marriage ended, I decided to throw everything I thought I knew out the window and start from scratch. I began to wonder if there was a completely different way to think about partnership and intimacy. It turns out, there is … it’s just hard to find.
In my own journey, I have studied with masters and shamans from many spiritual traditions, and sought the best of what traditional psychology has to offer. I have studied with amazing intimacy coaches and tantric teachers and have assembled a coherent new map for intimacy of the heart. In working with hundreds of individuals and couples, I share my passion of how human beings wake up and connect with their deepest truth. I don’t teach anything that I have not experimented with and found powerfully transformative in my own life.
I am a real human being with bills and relationships and children and live in this crazy world of form where nothing stays together for very long before beginning to fall apart. I love the Earth and singing and dancing and making meals and am always sniffing out places where people come together in real ways to share life. I love my family and am constantly in awe of the mysteries of my partner and my children. More laughter is always my medicine and I teach what I most need to remember for myself.
